Cardiac Catheterization Lab
The Catheterization Lab at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) offers specialized cardiovascular care in a fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility in our community. We also perform vascular access for specialized procedures such as kyphoplasty, nephrostomy, drainage catheter placement, and dialysis.
If you are referred to the cath lab, you will be cared for by our experienced medical staff, including interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and our expert nursing team.

Bringing special services to our community
Our team of cardiologists provides a wide range of services to diagnose and treat heart health issues. Some of the more common methods we offer include:
- Urgent heart and vascular care for patients admitted to the GRMC emergency department for cardiac or peripheral vascular emergencies.
- Electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implantation for the diagnosis and treatment of long-term cardiac problems.
- Peripheral vascular procedures, can diagnose vascular disease and treat blockages in the extremities and other blood vessels.

Most of our patients are referred to the cath lab by their primary care provider or specialist. If you receive a referral for cardiac catheterization or a specific treatment, call 830.379.2411 to make an appointment with us directly.
