About Dr Andrew Cree
Dr Cree trained through the University of Sydney (US) & the Australian Orthopaedic Association Training Programme from 1995-1998. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons(RACS) awarded in 1998. Subspecialist fellowship training in spinal surgery undertaken at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) in 1998. Further training in adult and pediatric spinal reconstructive surgery then completed at the University of Miami and Miami Children’s Hospital in 1999 and a Faculty appointment in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery, University of Washington was undertaken from 1999-2000. This latter expertise allowed further comprehensive training in all disorders of the spine in children and adults. Comprehensive training in Cervical spine, Keyhole surgery, & Image-guided techniques was obtained along with further experience in the management of trauma & spinal deformity.

Dr Cree has an interest in teaching & is the Director of the Spine Surgery Fellowship programs at the Children’s Hospital Westmead & Royal North Shore Hospital. He is the Director of the Children’s Spine & Scoliosis Service at the Children’s Hospital Westmead & is an active member of the Spine Society of Australia and the Scoliosis Research Society. Dr Cree currently practices in the North Shore & Westmead areas. He holds VMO appointments at the Children’s Hospital Westmead, Westmead & Royal North Shore Hospitals. He provides clinical services at the Mater, North Shore Private & Westmead Private Hospitals.
