About Dr Mai Hoang
pathologist specializing in dermatopathology. He is currently the director of dermatopathology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He served as Medical Director of the Pathology Immunohistochemistry Laboratory at Mass General Hospital from 2012-2019 and as Course Director of the annual Harvard Combined Dermatopathology Update Course from 2008-2017. He serves on the journal editorial boards of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Journal of Dermatopathology. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles, and authored and co-edited five books: Melanocytic Lesions: A Case Based Approach, Vulvar Pathology, Cutaneous Hematopathology, Immunohistochemistry in Diagnostic Dermatopathology, and Hospital-Based Dermatopathology: A Gurugicide.
