About Dr Monique Atkinson
Doctor Monique is a Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility subspecialist, one of low than 80 Doctors Australia-wide who have attained this most recognized qualification for Fertility Specialists & Reproductive Gynaecologists.
While completing her undergraduate degrees at the (USYD), Dr Monique Atkinson works as a scientist in the laboratory at Westmead Fertility Center. Was selected into the Talented Student Program, by which she accomplished basic science research in the reproductive field.
She then trained as a Junior Doctor across Western Sydney during which time her excellent clinical skills and going the extra mile for patients & colleagues were recognised through her being awarded the Intern of the Year. She has also completed a Masters in Reproductive Medicine at a High Distinction level & elevated to be a Fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2021.
Dr Monique completed most of her CREI subspecialty training through (WFC) & the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, some of the busiest specialist services of their kind in Australia. As the Clinical Director in training at (WFC), she provided clinical experience to assist with scheme improvements, innovations, & new services.

In 2022 Dr. Monique established the Fertility Clinic at Blacktown Hospital in Aus, where she still works as a Fertility expert for (WFC). She also works as a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
While working within Western Sydney’s major teaching hospitals, Monique shares her passion for infertility & adolescent gynecology with medical students and junior doctors. She has been invited to present at educational events both aslo nationally & internationally. She provides mentoring to another woman in the medical profession & advocate for the health & welfare of women & children in Australia, particularly through her past role as President of the New South Wales Medical Women’s Society, Australia.
Doctor Monique consults from rooms at Bella Vista & manage patients for fertility treatments with Genea Bella Vista, or (WFC). She is a Gynaecological surgeon at Westmead Private Hospital & Lakeview Private Hospital.
