Tamara Private Hospital is an acute Hospital offering medical, surgical & rehabilitation. It has been a leading provider of healthcare in this community for over 40 years. With 45 beds, Tamara Private Hospital (TPH) offers a comprehensive range of services together with Bariatric, Dental, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Robotic Surgery, Paediatric ENT and Dental, Day Surgery & Medical Services.
The Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres together with state of a art Stryker Unit and a procedural room, an 18-bed Rehabilitation Unit, a 4-bed High Dependency Unit along ward accommodation for medical and surgical patients in private rooms. All meals are cooked and prepared on site and Pipers Café provides in-house & outdoor dining Mon – Friday. There is also public access to 2 outdoor courtyards and a mobility garden.
We request that the general visiting hours of 11 am to 8 pm daily be observed and the patient rest period is between 1 pm and 3 pm. To visit your family member outside of these hours, please speak with the person in charge of the ward.
