The National Heart Center Singapore (NHCS) is a national and regional referral center for cardiovascular disease. Established in 1998, NHCS is a pioneer in cardiovascular care in Singapore.
NHCS provides one-stop comprehensive cardiac care from preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic to rehabilitation services. It is the only heart and lung transplant center in Singapore.
Each year, NHCS conducts 120,000 outpatient consultations, 9,000 interventional and surgical procedures, and 10,000 inpatients. Its clinical outcomes for heart attack treatment, balloon angioplasty with stenting, and coronary bypass surgery have been shown to be at par with international standards.
