The Warning Signs Of A Cardiac Event
Chest discomfort: Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the middle of the chest that lasts for more than a few minutes, or comes and goes.
Upper body discomfort: Symptoms may include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, back, neck, jaw, or stomach.
Dyspnea: With or without chest discomfort.
Other symptoms: May include breaking out in cold sweats, nausea, or light-headedness.
Symptoms of a stroke

Drooping face: Does one side of the face go numb? Ask the person to smile.
Arm Weakness: Is an arm weak or numb? Ask the person to raise both hands. Does an arm flow downward?
Speech difficulties: Is speech slurred, are they unable to speak, or are they difficult to understand? When to call 9-1-1: If the person shows any of these symptoms, even if the symptoms go away, call 9-1-1 and take them to the hospital immediately.

No normal breathing: The victim is not breathing normally when you tilt the head up and examine for at least five seconds.
