About Dr Daniel Lee
Dr. Daniel Lee is a fellowship-trained pediatric and adult ear and skull base surgeon. His primary clinical focus is on cochlear implant surgery for infants, children, and adults.
As director of the Wilson Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI) Program at Mass Eye & Ear and Mass General, Dr. Lee and his team work with infants and children and their families as well as adults who are deaf and cannot receive cochlear implants. Specifically, his program cares for children and adults with neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) who are deaf from bilateral vestibular schwannomas (acoustic neuromas) as well as for children and adults who are deaf from ear scars or missing or damaged auditory nerves.
