About Dr Maura Kennedy
Dr. Maura Kennedy is an attending physician in the Emergency Department at MGH. Dr. Kennedy graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She went on to complete her Masters’s in Public Health at Harvard. TH Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Kennedy is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kennedy serves as Chief of the Division of Geriatric Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, Faculty of the Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative and Geriatric Section Counselor of ACEP, and Past-President of the SAEM Academy of Geriatric Emergency Medicine. . He is recognized as a national expert on ED delirium and has worked on institutional, state, and national initiatives related to improving the care of patients with cognitive impairment.
