About Dr Raj Mallipeddi
Biography Dr Mallipedi qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine and completed specialist dermatology training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, St Thomas’ Hospital, London.
He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005 for his research on epidermolysis bullosa squamous cell carcinoma and has published numerous scientific articles. Between 2006 and 2007 he completed a prestigious Systemic Dermatology Fellowship at UTS Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, USA. It has provided tremendous experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for complex skin cancers as well as laser surgery. He is one of the few specialists in the UK who has completed advanced training in Mohs micrographic surgery, certified by the American College of Mohs Surgery.
He is Skin Cancer Lead at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Chair of the National UK Mohs Micrographic Surgery Service Standard and Past President of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery.
