About Dr Robyn Thom

Robin Thom, MD, is a graduate of Harvard College, University of Toronto Medical School, Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program, and Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program. As a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist at the MGH Lurie Center for Autism, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of comorbid psychiatric conditions in individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. She has a specific interest in the psychiatric care of people with Williams syndrome.

Dr. Thom’s research interests include psychopharmacology, anxiety disorders, Williams syndrome, medical comorbidity in adults with autism spectrum disorders, and the role of the immune system in autism spectrum disorders. He is a Harvard Medical School DuPont Warren Fellow and recipient of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology Travel Award.
