About Dr Thomas Fry
Dr. Fry provides an exceptionally high level of primary care and services to patients with a focus on preventive care, health screenings, wellness, nutrition, and fitness.
Dr. Fry graduated from Brandeis University cum laude and received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed an internal medicine residency and internship at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where he subsequently served as a senior staff physician for seven years. In addition to providing clinical care at the Lahey Clinic, Dr. Fry supervises medical students, residents, and fellows and participates in committees and review boards.
Dr. Fry joined Mass General and Harvard Medical School in 2010 where he continues to supervise residents and clinical staff while focusing on primary care for adults. He has a special interest in diabetes and has directed faculty development to provide more comprehensive care to patients with diabetes.
A philosophy of care has underpinned Dr. Fry’s service to his patients and his community since becoming an Eagle Scout. She has a special interest in patient safety and communication skills with regard to quality of care, medical errors, and patient safety where she has worked to integrate these concepts into medical student curricula. He was the director of Mass General Waltham’s transformation to become a Level 3 NCQA-certified patient-centered medical home, emphasizing a team-based approach focused on providing patients with comprehensive and continuous medical care to achieve optimal health outcomes.
