About Dr Young-Min Kwon
Young-Min Kwon, MD, PhD, FRACS, FRCS, FACS, FAOA, is vice chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kwon is the director of the Bioengineering Laboratory. Mass General Center for Tribocorrosion Evaluation and Treatment. Dr. Kwon is an accomplished surgeon, researcher, and educator specializing in minimally invasive total hip and knee replacement and complex revision surgery. Dr. Kuhn’s practice is dedicated to caring. Patients requiring hip and knee joint replacement.
Dr Kwon holds an MD degree with honors from the University of Sydney, Australia, and completed. Orthopedic residency at the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. He completed fellowships in adult reconstructive surgery. Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and an additional hip reconstruction fellowship at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland. He received his PhD from Oxford University, UK. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery. American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) and Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Orthopedic Association (AOA). He is an active member of the Hip Society and The Knee Society.
