About Dr Anne Marie M Albano

I am a professor of clinical psychology, a clinical psychologist, and board certified in clinical child and adolescent psychology. In addition to working at 3 Columbus Circle as director of the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders, I conduct research and train residents, fellows, and psychology postdoctoral fellows and interns. Our clinic treats children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Specialized programs, such as our Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) program for young children (ages 3-8) and our “Launching Emerging Adults Program” (ages 18-28) focus on treatment from a developmentally sensitive perspective. We offer individual, group, and family-based cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to psychological counseling and medication management. In addition to clinical work, my research focuses on developing and testing psychosocial treatments for anxiety and mood disorders and understanding the impact of these disorders on developing youth.
